Photokina News: Wide Compact
Cambo Fotografische Industrie BV is pleased to present the Cambo Wide Compact on Photokina 2006.
The Wide Compact is a new addition to the family of Wide DS products. The Wide Compact shares the same lenspanels and same focal lengths with the Wide DS Digital version. The Wide Compact is designed to work specifically with digital backs from Hasselblad, Leaf, PhaseOne and Sinar. The camerabody is available with interfaces for backs that are made for either Hasselblad-V, Hasselblad-H, Mamiya 645AFd or Contax.
Having no intergrated shifts, makes it possible to keep the size of the Wide Compact as small as possible, ideal for photographers on location without need for perspective control, who want to travel as light as possible, but still demanding the high-end quality of the latest digital backs.
The Cambo Wide Compact body features three build-in spirit levels, a firm wooden handgrip with integrated cable release, 2 accessory shoes for either a Cambo viewfinder from the Wide DS system or a smaller viewfinder from third parties.
Hooks are mounted for a neckstrap as well as for a hand strap.
The tripod connector is 3/8" thread.
