The Cambo WRS-1600 technical camera offers generous shift and rise/fall movements (20/20 horizontally and 20/20 vertically). Movements are driven by accellerated spindle gears, operated by XL size stainless steel driveknobs offering excellent grip. A unique feature is the ability to rotate between landscape and protrait orientation within seconds. Without the need to remove the digital back and still keeping the optical center in the same position. The body is machined out of high grade aluminium and built to last.
Its large movements in a relatively compact form factor make the WRS-1600 the tech cam of choice for architectural, interior and landscape photographers. It offers optimum perspective control and the ability to create amazing panoramic images by flat stitching.
The WRS-1600 shares the lens mount with the other Cambo WDS/WRS and Phase One XT tech cams. The rear interface is interchangeable, adapters are available for virtually any digital back. This also enables the use of short-barrel lenses, which require a spacer at the rear of the camera to make good use of the large image circles these lenses have to offer. Many of the lens panels can be fitted with an optional Tilt/Swing mechanism.
New Rodenstock Digaron lenses are available in Aperture Mount or X-Shutter. Cambo offers a retroffiting service for many legacy Schneider and Rodenstock lenses. This gives access to an extensive range of focal lengths, reaching from 19 to 180mm and beyond on request.
